Acceptable radioactivity limit in Fukushima schools 20 times higher

Acceptable radioactivity limit in Fukushima schools 20 times higher

After the nuclear disaster that happened in Japan because of the problems that the tsunami and the earthquake caused, the “safe” radiation that kids can be exposed to went 20 times higher than it used to in Fukushima, and parents are furious.
20 millisieverts is certainly a high amount of radiation, it was the maximum radiation that nuclear workers could be exposed to, and now its told to be a safer radiation exposure for kids in a Japanese prefecture, I cannot tell that it is ok to tell this to be safe, but neither can I say that it is wrong.
If the acceptable limit stayed as before, many schools would be closed and children left without education, and as the accident was in the whole place, they would not be any safer at their homes, there was a nuclear accident and now the place is radioactive, the more that can be done would be trying to remove some of the radioactive soil, but being realistic, there is not a real solution other than moving to ales contaminated place.
